Altar servers are boys age ten and up who desire to serve our Lord by serving the priest during Holy Mass. This act of love allows your son to grow closer to Christ. Servers are fully involved in the Mass and grow to have a greater appreciation of the priesthood. Training occurs four or five times a year. Altar servers may train and begin serving practice Masses three months before their tenth birthday. Once ten years of age he may start serving weekend Masses.
