I was ordained a deacon in May of 2003. In mid-2006, our bishop invited me to serve here at Old Saint Patrick parish. The assignment to serve the People of God in this faith-filled parish has been a joy and a blessing. Currently, my status is that of a senior/active deacon. My wife, Barbara, and I offer our parish baptismal preparation course for parents with infants. I also gladly serve on the Parish Council, Worship Committee. When health allows I try to help with other tasks. Praying for and with the People of God (especially the Liturgy of the Hours) is always a blessing and delight to fulfill. On a personal note, Barbara and I have nine children (two of whom are now with our Lord), nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In my professional career, I enjoyed working as a mathematician and professor.
